1. Why Upgrade to a Unified Futures Wallet?

Upgrading to the Unified Futures Wallet offers significant benefits:

• Centralised Futures Management: Combine all your futures trading activities into a single wallet, simplifying transaction management and providing a streamlined experience.
• Closure of Isolated Futures Wallets: Your existing Isolated Futures Wallets will be closed, consolidating all assets and activities into the new Unified Futures Wallet for improved efficiency.

While advanced traders often upgrade to enhance risk management, the decision to upgrade is entirely yours.

2. What New Features Are Included After the Upgrade?

The Unified Futures Wallet introduces:

• Isolated Margin Mode
• Hedge and Multiple Position Mode with Isolated Position

3. Key Information for API Users

API users should note the following:

• Review all API changes before upgrading.
• Once upgraded, the latest API endpoints will be used immediately.
• Update your API endpoints to align with the latest changes.

The key updates are:

1. API Version Change

   • Update: All v2.1 API endpoints must be updated to v2.2.
   • Example:
     Old: https://api.lmex.io/futures/api/v2.1/order
     New: https://api.lmex.io/futures/api/v2.2/order

2. Request Symbol Field Format

   • New Requirement: All symbol fields in requests must follow the format XXX-PERP.
   • Example: Use BTC-PERP instead of BTC-PFC.

3. Response Symbol Field Format

   • Change: All symbol fields in responses will switch to the XXX-PERP format.
   • Example: BTCPFC becomes BTC-PERP.

4. Market Field Format in Responses

   • Change: All market fields in responses will now use the format XXX-PERP-USDT.
   • Example: BTCPFC-USD becomes BTC-PERP-USDT.

5. Wallet Name Field Format in Responses

   • Change: Wallet names in responses will now use the format ISOLATED@XXX-PERP-USDT.
   • Example: ISOLATED@BTCPFC-USD changes to ISOLATED@BTC-PERP-USDT.

6. Quote Currency in Responses

   • Change: The quote currency field in responses will switch from USD to USDT.

7. API Access Restriction After Wallet Upgrade

   • Restriction: Once the wallet is upgraded to a Unified Futures Wallet, the user cannot use v2.1 APIs.

4. Conditions for Upgrading

Before upgrading, ensure:

• There are no active positions in your cross and isolated futures wallets (including sub-accounts).
• There are no open orders in your cross and isolated futures wallets (including sub-accounts).
• There are no active Futures Grid Trading Bots (including sub-accounts).

5. How to Upgrade

To upgrade to the Unified Futures Wallet:

1. Navigate to the Futures Wallet page and click the Upgrade button.
2. Confirm you meet all upgrade conditions.
3. Read the important notices (the upgrade is irreversible).
4. Confirm by clicking the Upgrade button.
5. Wait approximately 3 minutes for the process to complete.

6. What Happens to Isolated Wallet Assets Post-Upgrade?

All assets from your Isolated Wallet will be automatically transferred to the Unified Futures Wallet without any loss.

7. Important Points to Remember

• The upgrade to the Unified Futures Wallet is irreversible.
• All assets in the Isolated Wallet will be automatically moved to the unified structure.
• The process takes approximately 3 minutes, during which you will not be able to:
  • Perform futures trading.
  • Use trading bots.
  • Engage in bot copy trading.
  • Execute futures wallet transfers.
• The Unified Futures Wallet applies to all sub-accounts simultaneously.

8. Can I Revert to the Old Wallet After Upgrading?

No, the upgrade is irreversible. Once completed, you cannot revert to the previous wallet structure.

9. How Does the Upgrade Impact Master and Sub-Accounts?

• The master account decides whether to upgrade.
• Both the master account and all sub-accounts will be upgraded together.
• Individual upgrades for only the master or sub-accounts are not available.

10. Is There Any Downtime During the Upgrade?

Yes, the upgrade process takes about 3 minutes. During this time, you cannot:

• Conduct futures trading.
• Use trading bots.
• Engage in bot copy trading.
• Perform futures wallet transfers.

11. Accessing Records from the Previous Wallet

You can view all historical data from your previous wallet in the Futures Wallet History section.

12. What to Do if the Upgrade Fails

If the upgrade fails, verify that you meet all conditions:

• No active positions in cross and isolated futures wallets (including sub-accounts).
• No open orders in cross and isolated futures wallets (including sub-accounts).
• No active Futures Grid Trading Bots (including sub-accounts).
